Best. Family. Ever.
What an amazing Mother’s Day we had this year! I was treated to a yummy breakfast of cheese grits, coffee and jelly beans all prepared by McCanless yesterday morning. That amazing treat AND and a brand new Kindle, that I’ve been dreaming of for quite a while now! (I just can’t seem to pry the iPad away from the girls long enough to use it as a reader, so I needed my own.) Mostly, I’m happy that Mel was able to spend the entire day with us. We went to church, went to my mother’s house for lunch and came home to play in the neighborhood. It was such a fun day. I’m the luckiest girl ever! Love my girls and my hubby!

Love my Kindle–make sure you subscribe to the Free Kindle books!! I get some books for free and some for as little as 99 cents!! I would recommend highly books from author Charles Martin–he is a wonderful Christian fiction author–not a holy-roller but good middle of the road Christian fiction–much of it takes place in SC and GA so we have a reference!! I have read all his books and they are wonderful!!

What a sweet Mother’s Day! I, too, am considering a kindle as my boys rarely relinquish the ipad anymore. Funny…they think it was bought for them when it was my Christmas present…interesting how that happens, huh? 😉
So happy that MC is doing well…and you were able to enjoy YOUR day!!!
Lots of love and many prayers~ Rebecca
